United Natural Foods is a food wholesaler. They provide a full line of natural grocery products and organic produce to buying clubs, retails and food service customers. UNFI operates two distribution centers in the Northeast: the grocery and produce warehouse in Chesterfield, NH and the warehouse in New Oxford, ME. Benefits of Joining a Buying Club
One of the many benefits of joining the Wildcat River Cooperative Membership includes a 10% volume discount for buying club purchases. In addition, members can order cases of product to split amongst themselves at significant savings. Also, we have an efficient distribution and easy checkout system where you pay when you pickup and items are organized by member ID. Your coordinator handles all ordering and processing procedures.

Delivery unloading is the customer's responsibility. The day and week number (1 ,2,3 or 4) of delivery are assigned based on our truck routes. Please refer to the delivery calendar in the price list for the weekly cycles by month.

Be sure to check for misshipments in your frozen and refrigerated items before the driver leaves your delivery site. To avoid unnecessary delay, ask your driver to unload these products first and have someone check for mistakes while the grocery is unloaded. Look for products that don't match the pink label and cases shipped instead of singles. Any errors should be given back to the driver for immediate credit. To protect the integrity of our shipments, we can not take returns of perishables after they have been stored outside of our care. Nor can we give credit at a later time. After you sign for the delivery these products belong to you, so scrutiny of the perishables at the time of delivery is the way to prevent costly errors.

Grocery Prices for grocery monthly sale items are published in the Monthly Specials publication and are in effect for all orders delivered that month. Prices in the triannual catalog span four months and are likely to change. The list of price changes for each month can be found in the Monthly Specials.
Rainchecks are available for out of stock or mispicked sale items. Rainchecks will be honored the following month for the quantity not received in the previous month's order. Rainchecks are not available for: monthly variety boxes, unadvertised specials/short date sales, discontinued and holiday only items.

How to get a Raincheck: request rainchecks from the Sales Department when placing your order the next month. Include the product number, quantity not received and the sale pricing. Rainchecks are not issued by the credits department.

Buying Club Coordinators should keep extras on hand for new members. Extra catalogs and monthly specials can be ordered with your grocery order.

Grocery Credit and Return Requests must be reported within 3 business days of delivery. All returns MUST be in resaleable condition. A restocking fee of 1.0% or $3, whichever is greater, will be applied to product returned due to customer error. United Natural Foods does not accept returns of frozen or refrigerated products after the truck has left the delivery site.
